Learning in Public Log

This project is an attempt to make something usually invisible in community organizing visible: feedback.

The best communities are made of the people who represent them. In a lot of spaces, you give feedback but never see what happens next. Did they use it? Did they value it? Did it actually change anything?

In helping run Civic Tech DC, it has become especially important to build a community that is also reflective of itself in which one can see how feedback and ideas shaped new processes. I share what feedback I have gotten, thoughts, and what the next steps were, if any.

I see this as an experiment. It is something I plan to update for just the next few months. The timing is intentional. I'm stepping into a more active leadership role, but haven't been in it long enough to lose the outsider eye.
